You And I by Ryan McGinley

Ryan McGinley doesn't need much of an introduction as he is surely one of the most popular photographer/artists on the interwebs these days. Twin Palms recently published this big book collecting some of McGinley's favourite photographs from the past twelve years. I pretty much recommend this book to anyone who has the slightest interest in this photographer's work as they have never been published in such a big format before (his previously published zines or books have been less than half the size). Check out some shots of the book below or visit his website to see his other photographs.

I Heart Niederdorf

Swatch asked magazines all around the world to present their favourite neighborhood in a city. Vice asked me if I wanted to do it in Zurich and I gladly said YES!! The team (people from the magazine, film crew and photographer) followed me one day downtown and you can see the result above. It is still super weird seeing myself on video. It is part of a contest called Swatch from the Streets where people can vote for their favourite city. The winning city and magazine will get to throw a big party on behalf of Swatch. People voting can win a trip to the winning city to attend the party or the Swatch New Gent Lacquered. If my city wins, I will make sure to give a private city tour to whoever gets flown in. Follow this link and vote for me, it only takes a few seconds. Once you have logged in, you can vote every day by simply clicking on vote again!

Nuji

You might have noticed the Follow On Nuji button on the sidebar and the list of Most Recent Nuji Tags. Nuji is another social wish list like Svpply but with one big advantage. You collect points for being the first to tag an object and you get even more points if you get retagged by other users. After collecting a certain amount of points you will be able to exchange them for discount codes at your favourite online shops. For example: You are the first to tag an item from Très Bien Shop, you get points towards that online shop. It gets retagged from your profile, you get even more points. They are adding new partners all the time, so the amount of discounts will increase over time. It is also a convenient way of keeping track what you find in online shops without having to bookmark them with your browser. Nuji is currently invite-only but you can get signed up if you follow me on Twitter and click on the link in this Tweet. If you already have an account, follow me and I might follow you back. Below, I assembled some of my most recent Nuji Tags.
