Resort 2011

It is the first time this season that I really looked at the resort collections. In contrary to spring or fall collections, resort collections do not really have a specific theme or show a direction for the upcoming season but are just clothes that designers think their customers want. There have been many presentations of resort collections this year compared to last year. Maybe because Anna Wintour wanted it so. But there is a very interesting article about these in-between season collections on The Cut.

    Wow - I love Celine. The block colours and strong geometric shapes make for such a bold outfit - really constructive, but beautiful at the same time.
