By the time I started to notice the new menswear runway collections, the menswear fashion weeks were already over. It happened during the same time as Art Basel and the FIFA World Cup (yes, I actually watch football!) and my mind just wasn't able to follow everything at once. My overall favourite this season is either Louis Vuitton or Kenzo. I find those bags by Louis Vuitton too tacky and Lanvin wasn't as convincing for me as in previous seasons but still very good. What collections did you like best from the menswear shows?

i know what you mean about lanvin, much preferred last seasons offering. i liked paul smith's darker side, kenzo, calvin klien. still have't got through them all though

ReplyDeleteI think the shoes (except Damir Doma) are balancing on the line between interesting and ugly. Louis Vuitton is very dynamically, my favourite. Kenzo is very interesting and has a nice character. And in my opinion, Lanvin is just clothes and not much behind it.

The Kenzo collection is definitely my favorite of the lot, but then it's also the most mainstream so maybe that's just a reflection of my conservative attitude towards fashion. I do have to say, now that I've found this men fashion blog I'll keep checking back. Are you planning a post for the recent shows that have just happened?
