You've probably heard of the current situation in Iran. I've been following the events since yesterday afternoon on Twitter and have been participating by retweeting important messages through a seperate account, that I've created. Even the press relies on the twitterfeed, because the combination of Twitter, Youtube and Facebook has become an important tool for Iranians to spread the word of what's happening in their country. And Twitter users are spreading informations faster than the press ever could. You maybe have also already heard of the innocent twenty-seven year old woman named Neda, who's been taped on video after she was shot and then died in front of the camera. Many people have seen this footage already and because of its impact, it reminds me of that photograph from the vietnam war of a girl running away after a napalm attack on her village. There's a quote, that sums up what's been happening this weekend quite well: Today, the world participated in a war not with guns & weapons but with a mouse & keyboard.
its completely heartbreaking. thats all i can say. thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Thats so sweet that you use your blog to bring this front and center. I hope that the stuff in Iran can go down with the least bloodshed possible but the Iranians need freedom.
