Julia Saner

It's the first big editorial shoot for Julia Saner from Switzerland, who won this year's Elite Model Look International 2009 – one of the most important contests for upcoming models. They did the shoot in the opera of Zurich for Switzerland's fashion magazine Annabelle and all the pictures are actual Polaroid scans. It's one of the most beautiful editorials I've seen this year and wish I could get my hands on the original Polaroids. I'm sure she's got a bright future ahead in the fashion industry and wish her all the best.

    I love her facial expressions/composure. I love the fact that they used polaroids even more. It gives such a nice effect to the "fairytale ballroom" atmosphere. Brings it to a different factor.

    Oh man I would love to do a shoot like this! If only I magically grew three inches.

    I guess for now I can only admire

    wunderschönes Editorial. Die Farben und die leichte Unschärfe durch die Polaroids wirken einfach nur genial.

    Gorgeous! I've never been inside the Zurich Opera House, but it looks stunning. I'm starting to think maybe I should get tickets for something there - maybe ballet? Anything but the Nutcracker. Saw in in NY and OMG, those were two really long hours.
