Bits And Bobs #70


Sweater by A.P.C., Jacket by Barbour, Jeans by Acne, Glasses by Moscot

This is my go-to outfit at the moment when I don't feel like wearing anything else at all or when I am in a hurry. The Barbour jacket and Acne jeans are the essentials and I just swap tops and shoes from day to day. Ever since I got the Barbour, it's probably my most worn item. It shields against wind and rain, has big pockets to carry all my little things (camera, phone, wallet) and goes with almost anything else in my closet. I bought a fake fur lining that can be attached with zippers and a hood in addition to make it winterproof. I might do an entry showing some of my essential items as mentioned above, if there's an interest.

    i used my cousin's old barbour jacket while i was in germany.....and went out and bought my own the next day. so amazing.

    I love that jacket! Barbour always does an excellent job with their jackets. I believe they also come with a lifetime warranty which can be very handy in the future. I love your blog!

      well you can get them repaired and waxed anytime but they charge a small fee

    Sweet jumper, I have an APC jumper and it is literally the warmest thing ever, though I guess you won't be cold with the fake-fur lining either! Very stylish 'it's winter so I can't be bothered' getup - a lot better than mine xxx

    ooh, that lining is perfect! it's gotten far too cold where i am to wear my barbour for some time but now maybe i can refashion it for the winter months next year!

    a barbour jacket is on the top of my wanted list! i just can't choose between the beadnell or the beaufort. the fur lining idea is genius btw.

    The cream colour of the sweater combined with the olive waxed barbour and its suede collar is eye candy. Everything goes well with your Miltzen. Certainly interested in an essential items entry!

      you can get it from barbour directly in the size according to your jacket's size and it's attached by zippers

      the sweater is from the A/W 2010 collection but it eventually reappears in upcoming seasons in different colours
