Coming Up Roses

I only recently discovered this beautiful editorial back from 2007 by Sølve Sundsbø and Jessica Stam, who are both one of my favourites in the fashion industry. I would love to see more such editorials in today's popular magazines, where the imagery mostly have become tack-sharp or edgy. For me, fashion photography is about making people dream – a dream people can still relate to though. And this editorial captures perfectly my opinion.

    I agree, it would be lovely to see an occassional change from the sharp graphic editorials (as much as I appreciate them). Sometimes a little bit of dreamworld is good!

    You are right, photography should be more about dreams...or even fantasy. Things that inspire us in a more pleasant way as opposed all the hardcore edge that's out there right now. I agree with you.
    And I think this editorial is really breathless.
