It's a shame that Polaroid decided to stop producing their traditional instant films a couple of years ago, because especially in combination with a Polaroid SX-70 camera, you were able to capture beautiful photographs printed instantly with its own charm. So I was rather surprised and also happy to see a new instant film camera by Fujifulm, called Instax 210, that shoots pictures in the traditional 3:2 ratio. The camera isn't exactly what you would call compact, because it's quite big, but the film cartridges are a bit cheaper than the ones of Polaroid used to cost. More photographs on my Visual Diary.
beautiful photograph.

ReplyDeletewhere did u get the camera, and for how much? yeah i used to love the polaroids and its a bicth trying to find film to shoot with it, im always on ebay. anyways where could i find this camera, it seems nice. did u get urs with a zoom lens? where does the picture actually come out?? sorry for all the questions lol
ReplyDeleteGreat info. I think I'll buy it.
ReplyDeleteit's my friend's camera and i'm not sure how expensive it is. i saw prices around 110$. this fujifilm camera has no zoom lens and the picture comes out on top of the camera.
ReplyDeletei've heard and read about the impossible project, but it seemed until very recently that they would fail as well. they released veryvery nice films now but of course at a pretty expensive price. i'd love some black and white film though.
yes yes Polaroid ia coming back!
ReplyDeleteSuperb sunglasses! I have substituted with the Fuji Instax camera.
ReplyDeleteI have heard that Polaroid is coming back with Lady GaGa behind the project. I say this at my expense of sounding ignorant as I heard I via word of mouth.
ReplyDeletepolaroid is back, theyve released their first film --specially made for the sx-70, its a different kind of polaroid film (dont ask me why they didnt just release regular color film first) anyway, its called silver shade film i believe, and its a type of film that can have variable results. and yeah its a little pricey. luckily i own film from 2009 thats still good so im in no rush for new film. anyway, compared to the instax i have to say that i just cant take my hands off of polaroid.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't personally think Polaroid is back... But you know, for the PX 70 there is ADORABLE charges on this website: www.theimpossibleproject.com, so, if you'll check it, I'm sure you'll understand what I mean.
ReplyDeleteThis guys remake old films and...
The bought the old Polaroid factory.
Anyway, they are genious!
