London & Milan Spring 2011

The fashion weeks for Spring 2011 are over and while many other bloggers have already posted all their favorites, I am a bit late as usual. My school is consuming a lot of my time, so I haven't had as much time to check out all the collections as I used to. In London and Milan, there are always only a few designers that I really like, which is also why my selection is rather small. In contradiction, I like so many collections I have seen so far from Paris, that I am already afraid to put them all in a single blog entry. But for now, here are my favourite runway collections from London and Milan. I would like to hear yours in the comments.

  1. I really like the dolce & gabbana collection ;D it's like in a mood of a 50's picnic that perfectly complements the menswear collection and all those checks

  3. I loved Jil Sander so much as well! I think that's actually the D&G show above, right? I actually liked the Dolce & Gabanna show better, maybe even best from Milan. All those incredible white dresses...total fantasy, my dry cleaning bills would be astronomical ;n )

  4. totally agree with you actually...
my opinion is exactly same as your one.
paris seems more interesting anyway the are few great collections from london as kinder aggugini, maria grachvogel, jonathan saunders, daks and great paul smith.
from milan: iceberg, sportmax, silvio betterelli, kristina t. , jo no fui or gabriele colangelo.

  5. Great picks! My favorite is definitely D&G because flowy florals paired with a belted waist are just so feminine and fun annnd because the model in the middle has Snow White on her tank.

  6. Out of the four runway collections that you've posted, I'd have to say that my two favorites are the Fendi collection, and Dolce & Gabanna. For Fendi's collection, I love the colors, and the way the material looks. It all looks very soft and fluid-like. As for Dolce & Gabanna, pairing neutral tones with bold patterns/prints, and lacey textures, allows the outfit to look bold yet simple

  7. Love the D&G collection, it's very cute, and the Acne one is great as well. My favourites are Rodarte because of the gorgeous textures and shoes, Mary Katrantzou because of the amazing shapes and prints, Dolce and Gabbanna because of all those amazing white and black dresses and its general aesthetic and Lanvin because of its glamour.
