Selection of the upcoming Lanvin pour H&M collection for women. The clothes look so much like Lanvin. Alber did a great job. The cuts and shapes are great, the fabrics are also very nice especially considering the price tag. It is obvious H&M couldn't use fabrics as luxurious as Lanvin but they even consulted Alber Elbaz what kind of substitute they should use. Yet there is still a lot of silk. The collection consists of over 40 pieces and will hit stores worldwide November 23rd. I will post the collection for men next week.

~LANVIN X HM speaks all spring and volume. it just surprises me though that some of the collection wasn't as original as I thought Lanvin could have offer.

ReplyDeleteIf you like art, go on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI want to see that bitch-to-photograph black sheer piece. I DEMAND YOU TO GO TAKE PICTURES OF IT.
ReplyDeleteI don't like what I've seen so far - except perhaps for the petticoat dress... still not sure about that one, though :/
ReplyDeleteI admire the cheap-chic concept I do confess I do carry mixed feelings about this collection.
ReplyDeleteShould probably wait for the release (Two more weeks!) and check with my own eyes before I pass out my opinion(s).

love them! especially the yellow one! ;)
ReplyDeleteLoving the shoes!
ReplyDeleteI have my eyes on one of their coats and I'm definitely liking the rest of the collection. Unfortunately, I have school (and it's a very important school day) the 23rd :( But my mom (who's off from work that day) told me she would buy the coat for me... What a great mom I have :D Then I have to come in later during the day and look at the rest of the items :)
ReplyDeleteWow great pictures thank you for sharing!

new post
I like several pieces from this collection, but the idea that everyone is going to be walking around in these dresses is a little less than appealing. I will definitely go check it out, because that black on black zebra trench has "wardrobe staple" written all over it, but I am not getting up at 4 am for it ;-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, it was great meeting you on Thursday! That was me with Nesli :-)
Anticipating like crazy....
