New York Fall 2011

New York fashion week is going to end tonight and the fashion crowd is moving on to London. While I didn't have time to watch most of the livestreams, I made sure to have a look at all the photos that appeared on style.com the day after. The designers from New York are often pretty young compared to the ones in Milan and Paris so the collections feel very fresh. I am so glad that Olivier Theyskens is back on the fashion week schedule. Here are my favourites in alphabetical order. I might update this entry tomorrow depending on how good the Calvin Klein collection is going to be. Tell me your favourites in the comments.

    that mustard coat in the phillip lim collection is AMAZING!
    also love the last dress on jason wu and the rodarte collection is so dreamy.

    I found the Phillip Lim collection very stylish, and Proenza Schouler has got such awesome patterns. Oh, and the Rodarte collection seems like fashion made for goddesses!

    became a phillip lim fall'11 rtw collection fan after your post. love the green everywhere in it. And the coats. did an own selection on my blog.
    like the second "rodarto" robe as well as the first of "Theyskens' Theory".

    I haven't been able to follow up with NYFW for the past 2 days, but so far I'm really in love with Erin Fetherston and Jason Wu's collections!

    I see that 3.1 Philip Lim has amazing stuff this season too (:

    Very inspiring! There is always something special about Proenza Schouler. Can't tell what it is, but they always seems to nail it! haha. The Row looks pretty amazing too.
