Fall 2011 Couture

Sorry for my long absence from blogging. Stable internet connections are rare in the countryside of Thailand so I thought I would give myself a little free time and resume my blog duties when I got back to Switzerland, which was this morning. I finally had some time to look at the couture shows and I absolutely love what Riccardo Tisci did for Givenchy. You can view the kind of process and how much time actually went into producing these beautiful dresses on Style.com. Azzedine Alaïa's couture collection was another standout for me this season. Again, many details about the process of making these garments here.

  1. Love the first, second and fourth dresses of Givenchy, one of my favorite brands.
And Azzedine Alaia has a great collection too.

  2. So different to see some romantism from Givenchy. Looks less austère and sévère than the other collection, quite love that.

  10. I am lovin your blog! I'm a swiss blogger btw.

Givenchy is so feminine, so pure and full of little details that makes the dresses even more fabulous. And Azzedine Alaia is about the same but in "black version". Aieaie J'adore.
