Bits And Bobs #14

Cotton Navy Blazer by H&M, Pocket Square made out of ripped out book pages, Striped Longsleeve Tee by Muji, Silk/Linen Trousers by H&M, Brown Oxford Shoes by MOMA, Vintage Greek Fisherman Hat

Some of you might remember the VHJ editorial, that I posted as an inspiration a while ago. From the moment I saw it I wanted to make a pocket square out of ripped pages myself. Also I'm finally owning a decent pair of brown oxford shoes, for which I've been looking for quite a while now. They're super-soft to walk in, like walking on pillows! And I'm also wearing my supersuper-soft selfmade jersey scarf. For those of you, who are interested from which book I ripped out these pages, it's Der Sandmann by E.T.A. Hoffmann.

  10. I condemn people ripping apart literature, but the idea, if it was of your thinking, is applaudable.

  16. you remind me of one of my friends. which is weird because you guys don't have anything in common (dif hair color, clothes style, eye color, he never wears blazers or sunglasses) but the look you have in your eyes...it just makes me feel like you are him. it is very weird i know...

  18. first i liked the idea of wearing bookpages in pockets, but at least when i read the title, I'm not able to say anything more than just unexceptable. It's a classis book and it do not deserve to be ripped and put into pockets. Hope you took one of the blanket pages in the beginning.
