Bits And Bobs #22

T-Shirt by Jaspal, Jeans by Cheap Monday, Blazer by Zara, Selfmade Jersey Bowtie Scarf, Shoes by SWEAR

I think it's always challenging to make a dark outfit work on warmer days or summer in general. I'm still grateful, that Zara made such a beautiful blazer affordable, even the lining is perfect for rolled up sleeves. And I somehow wanted to wear my jersey scarf with this outfit. If I had just worn it around my neck it would have been too hot, so I decided to make a big bow tie out of it.

  10. I love how you took enough creativity to convert your scarf into a bow tie instead of using it as a scarf. I agree with you when you say the blazer that Zara made is incredible. I am in love with it and I think I am definitely going to check Zara out. I need to know where you shop for your shoes! I've tried looking everywhere for shoes at least similar but can't find anything!

  20. Hey. I love that blazer. I wish more designers would add great touches like nice linings. My favorite blazer is pinstriped on the inside it just adds a great touch.

So I know you use a cannon and I have an Oly (for digital and for film) but I was wondering since I guess a hot shoe is a hot shoe (although my film camera being almost 3 times as old as me doesn't have one... Grrr...) if you use a flash what kind of flash do you use? Also what is your favorite kind of film?

  27. If i were to buy a cardigan a few sizes larger for a purposely oversized look, would it throw of the fitting? What do I need to look out for when buying a cardigan? (P.S: If it makes a difference as it might, i'm a girl)

  29. ava: no, it wouldn't. especially if it's long enough so you can pair it up with just a pair of tights and high-heels and maybe some collared shirt underneath? just like done in this editorial: http://fashionbitsandbobs.blogspot.com/2009/07/inspiration-reality-show.html

  34. kaya: thank you so much for your long comment. your a-levels are probably similar to our "gymnasium" (which is similar again to american highschool, just on a higher level)?

trendydwarf: i have found my shoes all in onlineshops!

nate: i actually respond to every question i get on this blog, although i usually prefer when i get emails, in case the question's got nothing to do with the entry itself. but sometime a comment goes under...
